Mental Health

Interactive Experiences for very real problems

Having conversations with people experiencing mental health challenges like suicidality, self-harm, panic attacks, anxiety, and depression can be daunting. Most people feel ill equipped, terrified and in some cases resentful that this could eventuate. It’s not something that we talk about when interviewing for the exciting new role or making new friends.

Being given the opportunity to practise your response in a totally safe space is a gift. Interact Now mental health training gives you the chance to talk to someone in mental health distress. You can time out, ask the group for their ideas, ask the character for real time feedback and try a range of different responses.

You are guided through the process by a trained psychotherapist, and you will do no harm even though, when you are in the scenario (or watching it), you will feel the character’s distress.

How It Works

Getting Comfortable Through Interactive Drama for Real-World Impact

Real-World Scenarios
We craft realistic scenarios that reflect the mental health issues you face in your organisation, school or college.
Interactive Performance
Our actors bring these scenarios to life, with the audience stepping in to suggest changes, direct the action, and explore alternative solutions in real-time. Small group work ensures that participants feel psychologically safe in these very charged conversations.
Reflect & Implement Change
After the workshop , the group engages in an in depth debrief to manage possible triggered reactions, to explore what worked and what didn’t, and how to apply the insights gained to create authentic, and realistically supportive environments.
